Thursday 27^th November saw the lodge embark on a new Masonic calendar with our newly installed RWM Brother Garry Forbes and his office bearers acquitting themselves in a most able and proficient manner.

As stated in the lodge syllabus the main business of the evening was a conferral of the Entered Apprentice degree which was duly carried out on a Mr Alexander Milligan who was initiated into the mysteries and privileges of the craft in what was by consensus another blue chip performance by the degree team. 

Brother Sinclair Stewart RWM of lodge Dramatic in Glasgow spoke very eloquently on behalf of the visiting Brethren present, adding his own congratulations on the dignified manner in which the office bearers has carried out their various duties in conferring a degree – which in his opinion had maintained the usual high standard associated with 242 over the numerous years he had the pleasure of visiting lodge Houstoun St Johnstone.
